YEO Messaging and C86 Partner to Deliver Identity-Verified Secure Communications

Mar 26, 2026

London, Thursday, March 26, 2026YEO Messaging, the British leader in AI-powered encrypted communications with patented continuous biometric authentication, has announced a strategic partnership with Company 86 (C86), a London-based AI, cybersecurity and digital transformation consultancy.

The partnership will enable C86 to advise organisations on their requirements for secure messaging and resell YEO Messaging’s continuous, live facial recognition technology directly to its customers. Fulfilment will enable organisations to deploy secure, identity-verified, out-of-band communications.

The announcement comes as regulators increase scrutiny of operational resilience across organisations deemed to have critical and essential infrastructure. As such, the UK Cyber Security and Resilience Bill (CSRB) received its second reading in Parliament in January 2026, and it introduces more prescriptive security requirements with expanded incident reporting obligations for organisations operating critical digital services.

By adding YEO Messaging’s technology to C86 customers’ environments, organisations will gain a secure communications channel that remains trusted even during a cyber incident. This capability supports organisations responding to incidents while meeting new regulatory expectations, including reporting obligations within 24 and 72 hours of a material cyber event.

To mark the start of this new partnership, YEO Messaging and C86 will host an exclusive webinar unpacking the real-world regulatory impact of the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill on organisations, detailing exactly what it will mean for their future resilience capabilities.

Secure, regulated communications when primary systems fail:

Cyber incidents increasingly target internal communications systems as a first attack vector. Email, collaboration tools, and identity systems are deliberately compromised early on, leaving organisations without a trusted channel for coordinating responses. YEO Messaging’s technology provides a secure out-of-band crisis communication layer designed specifically for these situations, so that Incident Responders, staff, HR, supply chains, lawyers, cyber insurance companies, and now CSRB regulators can stay securely connected and informed about next steps in remediation.

The identities of these users are verified through continuous facial recognition, and the platform verifies each participant's identity throughout the communication. Messages cannot be forwarded, screenshotted or accessed by unauthorised parties, ensuring that incident response teams can coordinate securely during high-risk situations. Through the partnership, C86 will advise organisations and resell YEO Messaging to support these scenarios:

• Incident response coordination
• Secure executive decision-making
• Crisis communications during cyber events
• Regulatory incident reporting workflows
• Secure communications between institutions and regulators

This capability is particularly important for sectors such as banking, digital finance, legal and cryptocurrency, where operational resilience and regulatory reporting obligations continue to tighten.

Christo Conidaris, CRO of YEO Messaging, commented. “Cyber incidents increasingly begin by compromising identity systems and internal communications platforms so that remediation efforts are hampered from the outset, and disruption is maximised. When that happens, organisations lose trust in their everyday tools, such as email, that they would ordinarily use to coordinate their response.

By integrating YEO Messaging directly into C86’s platforms, institutions will have a verified, out-of-band communications capability designed specifically for crisis situations. Every participant is continuously authenticated, which means decision-makers know exactly who they are speaking to when it matters most.”

Cheryl Martin, Global Head of Cyber C86, agreed: “Organisations are facing a new generation of cyber threats alongside increasing regulatory expectations. Our customers require security solutions that go far beyond protecting infrastructure today. They need resilience across their entire operating model, including how leaders and incident response teams communicate during a crisis. Under the CSRB, secure communications should now be treated as a critical resilience capability.

By combining the C86 Advisory and AI solutions with YEO Messaging’s identity-verified communications, we are enabling our customers to maintain secure, trusted communications even during the most challenging operational scenarios.”
